Having been a successful member of the state of Connecticut business community for over five decades, Nutmeg Chrome firmly believes that support should be a two-way street.

Nutmeg Chrome prides itself in serving communities in Connecticut. President and Owner, Bill Logozzo, has helped establish several outlets in which to give back to the citizens of Connecticut and other charitable causes.


State of Connecticut Recognition

In recognition of various community contributions, Bill Logozzo was awarded the prestigious State of Connecticut Official Citation in April 2002 by the Connecticut House of Representatives. 

The citation states:

“The State of Connecticut Official Citation is given to Bill Logozzo in recognition of service to Community & State as a volunteer, successful merchant and musician: teaching children at elementary schools to play drums, playing at church functions & nursing homes, giving time as a little league coach, and aiding the Joseph Ouida Foundation by helping needy children.”


Musical Dreams for Human Harmony

Heartbeat Dixieland Jazz Band

Bill Logozzo is also the leader and drummer of the jazz group he founded, Heartbeat Dixieland Jazz Band. Heartbeat has been performing in the central Connecticut area now for over eight years, building both its reputation and a growing group of jazz-loving followers. In addition to this band, Bill also has a classic rock band, Triple Play. Triple Play performs hits from the 50s and 60s right through today. Learn More >>
